JAMIA MILLIA’S LOSS
Death of Miss Gertrude [sic] Philipsborn
New Delhi, Friday. - The death occurred on Thursday at the Irwin Hospital of Miss Gertrude [sic] Philipsborn who came to India two [sic] years ago to work in the Jamia Millia at Delhi. She threw herself into the work with exemplary zeal and devotion. An internment in a refugee camp after the outbreak of the war interfered with her work for a few [sic] months. On release she returned to the Jamia Millia which by that time had moved to its new home in Okhla.
